There are two things I want you to know about this image that is very meaningful to me…
First, the handwriting… it is from my younger sister. She passed away at the age of 43 from colon cancer. She was a young Mom of three boys and she fought tooth and nail to remain on this earth. But, it was not to be. In a note card she wrote to me not long before she passed away, one of the words of encouragement she felt important to give to me was to Believe in Myself. She encouraged me to follow my passion and that if I believed in myself I could do anything. That phrase has been a powerful reminder every time I see it.

Second, one winter day I was looking out in the backyard and saw a little quail family making the trek in the deep snow. They were going from one place of cover to another. I noticed how they struggled walking through the deep snow, it was so hard for them! I thought it strange they chose to walk when they have wings to fly. Then one of the baby chicks (notice the chick above the word “Your”) took off and flew to the pine tree! What will you do with your time here on this earth? Will you take courage and allow yourself to fly or will you “stay in line” and live beneath your potential?
